Free decorating class at Pottery Barn, July 25

If you’re anything like me, you have no idea where to start when it comes to decorating your apartment. I want it to look modern and updated, but when it comes to choosing things like drapes, and sofa pillows – and then having to mix and match colors and patterns – I’m totally lost. I miss the easy days of my youth when I could just throw the latest Michael Jordan poster on my wall and instantly I had the coolest looking room of all my friends.
Fortunately, there is help for me, as well as any Vista Ridge residents who feel my pain.  On Sunday, July 25 at 10:00 a.m., there will be a free class on Decorating with Color and Pattern at the Pottery Barn over at The Shops at La Cantera. Guys like me (or ladies even) who don’t know the do’s-and-dont’s of decorating can get expert advice on choosing and mixing colors, stripes and polka dots.
If you would have told me 10 years ago that I’d be spending my Sunday afternoon at a Pottery Barn decorating class, I probably would have laughed at the silly idea. But now…well, let’s just say that when someone knows they need help, they should do what they need to do to get it. If your apartment needs as much decorating help as mine, you’ll be there too. And why not…it’s free! Class size is limited so you’ll have to call them at (210) 558-2081 to reserve your spot.
